You can also sponsor wine and nibbles at a cost of £65 per month. Throughout the months sponsored all publicity emails, press notices and events listings carry his company's name and website address. It is an easy way to raise visibility and a low-cost way for members to start their marketing. (And can be put against tax as a marketing expense.)

A data projector for laptop presentations at our monthly talks is needed urgently. Currently we hire this but would be glad to hear if anyone knows of an under-used one we could use one night a month, or knows of a good secondhand one for sale.

Pubmeets

Informal networking sessions at a local pub take place on the third Tuesday of each month and are turning into a great chat forum for people in hi-tech start-ups. We have opened this up as a sponsorship opportunity for companies who are willing to put their name behind the first round of drinks for CHASE members attending.

Sponsorship for the pubmeets is available in blocks of one, two or three months, at a cost of £35 per month for one or two months or £100 for three months.

Pubmeets kick off at 8pm and are currently held at a great little (non-smoking) pub, the Free Press in Prospect Row, Cambridge. Mills & Reeve have kindly sponsored the pubmeet for 2004.

Christmas Dinner

CHASE is also looks for a sponsor who is able to help subsidise the costs of the last event of each year - the annual Christmas dinner. The event draws from 70 to 100 people. To keep costs down for CHASE members, we aim for around £1,500 sponsorship in total, shared between several sponsors.

Sponsors are likely to be companies or organisations related to the enterprise/new economy/investment/hi-tech area which wish to raise their profile among and support the region's growth companies. Please contact CHASE chair Jeff Veit for further details of the benefits that sponsorship offers.
